Summary

Responsible for working on single large scale, multiple projects or a work stream of projects.

The Business Analysis function plays a key role during the onset of a project or program by helping define scope and create requirements working closely with business partners and CDO office to understand and translate needs.

This role serves as a contact for IT during the design, development, and testing phase. Functional expertise is required.

Key expectations for BA job spec:

End to end software development life cycle experience or vended software implementation covering:

- o Gathering requirements, conducting interviews, process modelling, process visualization, and data analysis

Working with the design teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all of the requirements adequately
Supporting the technology teams through the build and coordinate or conduct unit test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood
Working with business teams to elicit input and support the planning and execution of user acceptance testing
Supporting the test team through preacceptance testing, system testing and system integration testing
Assisting with operation readiness, data migration, user testing and rollout as necessary

BA skills covering:

Carries out activities that are large in scope, crossfunctional and technically difficult with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
Delivers a work product that requires less revision
Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
Experience of having worked in a Asset Management/Asset Servicing environment is key
Experience of data analysis including data mapping
MS Office skills around excel, powerpoint, word, visio required
Strong communication skills, collaboration and stakeholder management
Ability to quickly interpret/decipher trends, identify early signs from available data and formulate effective strategies and actions in achieving program objectives.
Excellent communication and presentation skills along with good interpersonal skills.
Highly flexible and adaptable to change
Having done the BA role for 3 years or more
BA and Agile certifications are encouraged
Power BI experience is a plus
Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and foster excellent working relationships with internal and external partners.

Experience

Seasoned expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over 8+ years and/or equivalent experience.
Investment/Asset Management experience would be an advantage.
Knowledge on Asset Management and AM product offerings would be preferred.

Education

MBA/PGDM in any specialization
B.Com/BA/BE in any specialization
