Description

Perform skilled and semi-skilled electrical servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment, supporting day-to-day operations and maintenance of Platform Systems under the guidance of the Project Supervisor.


Responsibilities:


  • Support Project Supervisor in Platform Systems operations/maintenance.
  • Provide technical services to designated ships.
  • Adhere to department structure and reporting lines for effective communication and accountability.
  • Ensure adherence to authorization protocols set by the Workshop Repair team.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Diploma or Certified Apprenticeship in Electrical from a reputable institute.

Minimum Experience:

  • 3 years of experience in electrical equipment repair and maintenance.

Job Specification & Skills:

  • Familiarity with ships' performance, stability, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and conduct tests and trials.
  • Knowledge of international shipbuilding standards.
  • Proficiency in operating Special Tools/Test Equipment.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering tools, IT systems, and Quality Standards.
  • Understanding of Defence user community and operational environment.
  • SAP training and experience preferred.
  • Understanding of shipbuilding operations, ship systems, class society rules, and military specifications.

Experience:


  • Marine: 2 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Mumbai Central H.O, Mumbai, Maharashtra (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Mumbai Central H
