Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive history lessons that align with the ICSE curriculum standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported in their academic endeavors.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Incorporate technology and multimedia tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate student engagement with historical content.
  • Integrate cross-curricular connections where applicable, fostering interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student support initiatives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school-related activities as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive rapport with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues, promoting open communication and partnership in student education.

Qualifications:


  • A Master's degree in History, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, or Commerce, with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in an ICSE or similar educational setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the ICSE curriculum framework and proficiency in delivering effective instruction in history.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Salary:
₹38, ₹45,000.00 per month
