Role Description


The Branch Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring timely, complete and accurate processing of relevant information, including performing all relevant controls within own area of responsibility.

They undertake time critical, complex or regulated tasks and must ensure the timely escalation of operational, regulatory and other risks to the line manager and functional leads as appropriate.

The Branch Operations Analyst may also be responsible for building and managing relationships with the front office and other internal and external parties at an appropriate level, in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.

Your key responsibilities

  • Processing of Fixed Income (FI) and Money Market (MM) transactionsexecuted by Global Markets treasury & Trading desks.
  • Monitor & report all trade settlements obligations as per the regulatory & internal cutoffs by reviewing reports published off the regulatory platforms by CCP's Vs. reports from DB's systems.
  • Prompt notification of Fixed Income & Money Market trades for funding reporting to business & internal stake holders.
  • Liase with stake holders such as Business, Finance, Tax, Accounts payable as and wen required.
  • Daily compiling of regulatory prudential limits as per guidelines & set internal limits and onward reporting to management via MIS.
  • Reconciling underwriting & auction bidding info. as mandated under the Primary dealership business.
  • Reconcile settlements, reports, recons, MIS and the payments.
  • Handle Internal & Audit queries, as delegated.
  • Participate in regional forums towards CTB initiatives, as delegated.
  • Manage desk independently & ensure work life balance.
  • The desk involves working Indian time zone of 5 day week and daily 8:30 am to 8:00 pm & alternate working Sturdays.
  • Managing multiple business desks & stake holder requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal Skills and a collaborative management style.

Your skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Word a must.
  • Good communication skills, oral and written.
  • Ability to take initiative and coordinate with all stakeholders (Business, Internal stake holders & Regional teams).
  • Problem solving attitude and resolving conflicting situations. Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and accuracy in pressure situations.
  • A customer and service orientation to ensure that outcomes are achieved in line with the organization's expectations.

Education/Qualifications:


  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree from recognised University.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Financial industry / 1 year experience in the peer Global Markets
  • Fixed Income space.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines in Fixed Income area preferred
