Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision:
- Monitor and supervise all construction activities on the site, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes and regulations.
- Ensure timely feedback and coordination with the Project Manager.
Team Management:
- Supervise construction workers, providing guidance, instructions, and performance feedback.
- Monitor workforce productivity and efficiency, ensuring the timely completion of tasks and milestones.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to resolve design issues, provide technical guidance, and implement project modifications when necessary.
- Participate in project meetings to report progress, address challenges, and provide input on constructionrelated matters.
Documentation and filing:
- Maintain all necessary documents and file reports such as:
ii. Daily Labour Reports
iii. Site Inspection Reports
iv. Work Schedules and timelines
v. Material and Equipment Records
vi. Quality Control Documents
vii. Change orders and variation requests
viii. Minutes of Meetings held
ix. Subcontractor and Supplier details (including permits and insurances taken against liabilities)
x. Permits and approvals
xi. Issued and approved drawings and so on
Quality Control and Inspections:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive quality control program to ensure construction activities meet specified standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to identify and resolve deficiencies, ensuring highquality workmanship.
- Document and report any constructionrelated issues, deviations, or noncompliance incidents to the project manager.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
- Identify potential safety hazards, implement preventive measures, and respond to any safety incidents or emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and regulations throughout the construction process.
- Maintain list and details of safety equipment and other materials provided to the construction team and visitors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering.
- 12 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or residential projects.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in using software and tools such as AutoCAD, Excel and Power point. Knowledge of Sketchup would be an added plus.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
Job Type:
Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Salary:
₹10, ₹35,000.00 per month
