Description
Responsible for working on the Testing phases for the Implementation of products and services. They are responsible for ensuring product quality, through the planning, execution, and management of 1) product testing, and/or 2) workflow/product requirements compliance.

This person may have direct involvement in manual or automated test efforts or in developing compliance and delivery against the requirements for the agreed workflows and/or product quality.


  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and/or create the Test Strategy and relevant Test Plans along with the client, ensuring that it incorporates scope, schedules, roles/responsibilities, entry/exit criteria, targets/metrics
  • Creates new manual and automated test cases or scripts, likely with guidance from more experienced Testers
  • Produces or collects all required metrics, reports, and audits for relevant testing, as per defined within the Test Strategy and Test Plans
  • Maintains test cases or scripts and seeks to continuously improve product coverage
  • Manages, coordinates, and may execute all assigned testing according to the defined schedule and productivity targets, as per the Test Strategy and Test Plans
  • Escalates concerns about project/product/process quality in clear, timely, collaborative, constructive way
  • Works with cross product teams to define integration and interoperability testing
  • Assists with monitoring product quality and trends; Develops and leverages an understanding of gaps or deficiencies and how they can be improved
  • Assists in defining scope or process for audit or compliance certification with external vendor
  • Identifies, coordinates, and/or setsup any tools required for test and defect management
  • Working with the Project Manager or potentially writing, the testing activities required with the detailed Implementation plan/schedule to ensure all testing activities are captured and managed within the full Implementation timescales.
  • Working with the Implementation Consultants to ensure that the scope, requirements and workflows are tested, validated and signed off by the clients to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Collaborating with Business change to ensure any change requirements are captured, and executed through testing, where required.
  • Key Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements
  • 45 Years testing experience REQUIRED
  • Experience working with structured, documented workflows, requirements to Identify and derive Test Scripts, requirements traceability and signoff
  • REQUIRED
  • Healthcare implementation experience (EHRs/EMRs, specialty services)
  • PREFERRED
  • Clinical awareness, knowledge, working collaboratively with Clinical, Operational, and Administrative Staff
  • PREFERRED
  • Technical awareness, knowledge, experience working collaborative with technical staff, such as Integration, Infrastructure, Installation, Cloud, Developers
  • PREFERRED
  • Experience working with standard Testing Tools, such as Jira, TFS (and not just Excel)
  • PREFERRED


  • ISTQB, CSTE Certified

  • PREFERRED
