ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION
The team you will be a part of:
The Finance Operations team reviews, evaluates, develops, implements, maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems, financial statements, journals and reports in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or the 8th Company Law Directive.
Ensures that documentation for all processes across the organization is reviewed and updated periodically. May coordinate with external auditors to prepare the attestation of management assessment on internal controls.This role in summary:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly closing and reporting of cash receipts
- Maintaining variance analysis
- Check, Wire, EDI, Credit Card cash receipts processing and further handling
- Preparing month end reports
- Handling and managing daily exceptions
- Supporting Cash GL closing timelines
- Managing the expectations of Credit team and handling their queries
- Managing cash receipt interface and ensuring completeness of interface reports
- Ensuring completeness of SOPs and exception trackers
- Ensuring compliance
Minimum requirements:
-
Education: B-COM / M-COM
- Shared Services AP Process Experience
- 12 Years
- AR knowledge would be an edge
Preferred skills and experiences:
- Good Accounting knowledge
- SAP Working Knowledge
- Excel
- Excel
- Lean Certified (preferred, but not a must)
- Excel
- Customer centric approach
- AR Process knowledge
- Ability to manager multiple Stakeholders
- CI bent of mind
