Job Description:
Account Executive

Position Summary:


As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for the organization.

You will be responsible for overseeing various accounting activities, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team, management, and other stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and provide valuable financial insights.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

General Ledger and Reconciliation:

Oversee the general ledger activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.

Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
Conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and provide insights to support business decisions.

Evaluate the financial performance of different business units or projects.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP) and financial management systems.
