Description

Responsibilities:


  • To work closely with Sales / Channel Team in approaching new engagements/prospects to find out and document the requirements and key findings. Perform solution mapping and relay requirements to Pre-Sales Team for demonstrations.
  • To conduct product demonstrations with focus in Cloud domain.
  • To provide assistance to the Sales / Channel Team in preparing Presentation Slides, Solution Proposals, solution BOM, Response to RFP and Tenders.
  • To work closely with the Sales / Channel Team to ensure prospects requirements are fulfilled with and without the inclusion of 3rd party products other than what the Company distributes.
  • To perform research on Cloud solution domain technologies (Eg, DC infra, Netsec, DCI) and how it can enhance solution or product positioning. If there are other technologies that can value add to the position, it should also be incorporated.
  • To work closely with the Sales / Channel Team and Post-Sales Team in preparing Scope of Work (SOW) whereby you will be the final owner of the SOW.
  • To assist and jointly execute a handover meeting upon successful win to the Post-Sales Team with the Sales / Channel Team and Pre-Sales Team.
  • To be updated with latest changes or new product introduced by principals and/or 3rd party vendors.
  • To fulfill and undergo product certification trainings as required
  • To understand and execute company's marketing strategies and understand competitors' products, services and strategies, feedback to management on plans and strategies.
  • Participate in exhibitions to showcase products/solutions, capture leads, network with audiences to be closely updated with industry trends and needs.
  • To ensure that you execute and deliver the target allocated for the Presales team or based on your line card.
  • Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
  • Validates presales solutions design and sizing
  • Coaches and mentor presales team
  • Leads the technical discussion with suppliers on new initiatives
  • Responsible for cross solutions bundles
  • Attends QBR sessions with sales

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent experience certifications preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience, ideally in IT multinational environment.
  • At the minimum 5 years of solid work related experience, if does not possess a degree.
  • Track record on the assigned linecards experience is an added advantage.
  • IT Distributor and/or SI experience would also be an added advantage.
  • Have good communication in English, on the job understanding and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, effectively in an offsite environment and under high pressure.
  • Collaborate and align with business leads to understand their business requirement and growth initiatives to propose the required solutions for Cloud and Hybrid Cloud.
  • Work with other technology vendors, ISVs to build solutions use cases in the Center of Excellence based on sales demand (opportunities, emerging trends)
  • Manage the APJ COE environment and ClicktoRun Solutions
  • Provide solution proposal and presales technical support for sales opportunities by identifying the requirements and design Hybrid Cloud solutions.
  • Create Solutions Play and blueprint to effectively explain and articulate solution use cases to internal TD Sales, Presales and partners community.
  • Support incountry (APJ countries) Presales Team for any technical related enquiries
  • Support Country's Product / Channel Sales Team in prospecting new opportunities in Cloud & Hybrid Cloud
  • Provide technical and sales trainings to TD sales, presales and partners.
  • Lead & Conduct solution presentations and demonstrations
  • Deliver presentations at Tech Data, Partner or Vendor led solutions events.
  • Achieve relevant product certifications
  • Conduct customer workshops that help accelerate sales opportunities.
