What you'll do at Ather:
- Work as an internal consultant for the factory on all people and statutory matters
- Monitor daytoday factory HR operations and drive process excellence. You will be responsible for statutory compliance, records under various labor laws
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
- Own and manage working conditions of members working at the factory
- Understand and anticipate the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues, and build the case for change with stakeholders.
- Build frameworks to plan and manage the continuous process of change including dependencies, risk, potential scenarios, and options to mitigate
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and other HR strategic interventions
- Be the custodian for employeerelated policies
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Leadership Team to develop solutions, programs, and policies
Here's what we're looking for:
- Business acumen an ability to understand business drivers, enablers, and hurdles. The ability to go indepth and find what works best for the growth of the business and talent
- Communication skills written and spoken, in both English and Tamil
- Collaboration with internal POPS team members and excellent stakeholder management skills
- Combined analytical and persuasion skills with a comfort and flexibility to work with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior management
- Internal/external stakeholder relationship management
- An indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers' compensation, union relations, and state employment laws
What you bring to Ather:
- A degree in MBA in HR/Industrial Relations or MSW
- 5 to 7 years of experience in an employee relations role
