TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL:

Creation of visual effects following the established visual 3D effects style, working from 2D and 3D visual development reference.

Work from and interpret storyboards and animatics to create high-quality dynamic effects animation while maintaining strong shot-to-shot continuity.

OPERATIONAL:
Bachelor degree in Animation, Film, Art or equivalent professional work experience. Working knowledge of particle, fluid, dust, destruction, smoke, fire, cloth and environmental simulations. Link to Demo Reel/Portfolio showcasing 3D effects work done in recent years. Working knowledge of dynamic effects animation in Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Renderman, and Arnold. Experience with other programs a plus. Knowledge of Python/Mel.

INTERPERSONAL:
Written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities. Ability to seek proactive solutions to difficult situations.
