Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure alignment with sales forecasts and demand fluctuations.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Demand Forecasting:
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast demand accurately.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production departments to develop demand forecasts for different product lines.
- Adjust inventory levels based on demand projections and seasonality trends.
- Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, lead times, or pricing discrepancies.
- Inventory Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock aging.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory data analysis to optimize inventory management practices.
- Identify slowmoving or obsolete inventory and propose strategies for clearance or liquidation.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and streamline inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement inventory management software or tools to automate tasks and improve visibility across the supply chain.
- Train staff members on inventory management best practices and procedures.
Pay:
₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
