In one sentence:

The Coordinator's main responsibility is to manage compliance for Amazon Prime film and TV content. This includes viewing content, writing reports and occasionally performing video edits for compliance purposes.


What will your job look like?:


  • The role is measured by how well the Coordinator's responsibilities are completed whilst working to a deadline. Also by how well the person works independently and as a team member as well as with other departments
  • Deliverables are complying assets on time to schedule, escalating issues, communicating to customers, team and departments
  • How is the role split time wise? 80% operational (Compliance tasks) 20% administration (meetings, reporting, client communication)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Viewing content, creating compliance reports and editing assets when needed with deadlines set and restrictions laid down by the client
  • Amazon Prime
  • Monitoring content processing through Vubiquity's workflow tools and updating work orders in a timely manner
  • Liaising with internal Programming, Traffic, Media Operations and Editorial teams on scheduling, trafficking, delivery and processing of media files
  • To carry out adhoc tasks when requested by Supervisor or Services Manager
  • Monitoring of asset progress through various stages, ensuring all stages are completed on time
  • To remedy faults/issues where appropriate, including reacting to incidents when and as they occur through to resolution
  • To communicate with affiliate's operations department on delivery queries in a professional manner

All you need is
:

Strong media compliance skills with a general understanding to what is culturally acceptable from a compliance point of view

  • Great attention to detail for writing compliance reports
  • Strong English language skills and literacy in local Indian dialects
  • Other languages (Arabic and Turkish) is a plus
  • Experience performing basic editing
  • High degree of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology and software
  • The ability to react quickly and constructively in order to troubleshoot problems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to make clear decisions and communicate and document decisions made clearly
  • Ability to work on own initiative and proactively prevent problems from occurring
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail. Experience in a quality assurance role/department within a media/broadcast/VOD environment of at least 1 year
  • Experience of working to deadlines, often with a tight turnaround period
  • Some understanding of digital media technologies (preferably VOD) including, encoding standards and tools, automated quality control tools
