About Us:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Theory Teacher to join our dynamic team. Our institution is committed to providing high-quality education and preparing students for British diploma-level qualifications in music theory.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in music theory to students aged 17 and above, preparing them for British diplomalevel examinations.
  • Create and develop teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment content tailored to the requirements of the Trinity exams and other relevant qualifications.
  • Design, administer, and grade assessments to evaluate students' progress and understanding of music theory concepts.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in music theory education and attend training sessions or workshops as required.

Qualifications:


  • A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is required.
  • Successful completion of Trinity exams with strong theoretical knowledge is essential.
  • Prior experience in teaching music theory, particularly to older students preparing for diplomalevel qualifications, is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:


  • Strong knowledge and understanding of music theory concepts, including harmony, composition, and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to develop engaging and interactive learning materials.
  • A genuine passion for music education and a commitment to inspiring and motivating students.
