Site Reliability Engineer:

This role will help build and support the Data Factory, Keying and Linking and Credit Products on Azure.

The role will also in addition automate Infra as a code to protect data, performance, secure product and customer interactions.

Configure and deploy tools to leverage operational metrics to support customers with eye on glass monitoring and via alerts to help with L2 and L3 support.

What does a successful SRE do at Fiserv:

Work in Cloud Infrastructure Orchestration using Terraform/Ansible/Saltstack.
Integrating Cloud Infrastructure/Applications with Security Scans
Fortify/WebInspect etc.
Applications management using CICD tools Gitlab/Github/Harness/Jenkins.
Cross team collaboration. Ability to work with different teams, mainly Operations and Development teams.
Monitors dashboards and alerts and responds according to alerts as necessary.
Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions where possible, engage development teams as required to help resolve technical issues.
Works with Product, Project, and Delivery teams to ensure successful deployments of new code to lower environments and Production.
Proactively work across teams, peers and vendors to foster a culture of continuous improvement resulting in best in class support structure.
Helps create, validate, and approve Operational runbooks and other required documentation for all clients and systems.
Performs impact analysis and maintain knowledgebase of issues and resolutions
Creates reports, dashboards, and alerts as necessary to ensure that incidents are identified and resolved within SLA

What You Will Need to Have:

Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
Knowledge and ability to interrogate code (Java, Python Perl, etc.) and configurations to fix issues.
Hands on experience in Linux / UNIX command line.
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Service Management tools.
Handson experience with Azure Platform and services including but not limited to Azure Storage account, Azure Synapse etc
Handson experience with supporting AWS Platform and Services including but not limited to Compute (Lambda, EC2, Batch), Security (IAM, WAF, Secrets Manager), VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, S3, RDS, ELK, API Gateway, Cloud Formation
Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages such as SaltStack, Chef, Puppet and Ansible.
Experience with writing SQL queries.
Experience with technologies like Apache, Wildfly, Talend, Oracle, Angular, Confluence, JIRA, Tableau, Power BI.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Infrastructure Orchestration
Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
Experience with CI/CD tools and technologies
GIT, Gitlab, Harness, Bitbucket, SonaType, Jenkins, Fortify, AutoCM, etc.
BSc or Master's is preferred
