You will be working with a team of engineers who will be responsible for develop and implement new software, maintain and improve existing software.


Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Safety and Security of associates
  • Responsible for Security and integrity of information processing facilities, information assets, brand, and reputation.
  • Lead, train, motivate, guide, and discipline the Security personnel to achieve organization goals.
  • Be responsible for developing a system of information collection and intelligence network.
  • Responsible for planning, designing and operations of Security Automation Systems.
  • Manage end of life cycle equipment
  • Shall continuously strive for up gradation of Security Automation Systems devices and gadgets.
  • Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of security equipment and gadgets.
  • Be responsible for adequate training of Security personnel in Security matters, Safety, fire fighting, firstaid and computer operations.
  • Prepare budgets for both Opex and Capex for the region.
  • Manage New Security projects / Manage Security INFRA
  • CCTV Cameras/Access Control
  • Hardware and Software globally
  • Adhere to Security KPI's
  • Be responsible for administration of Security staff. He shall be responsible for grievance handling of Security staff and their welfare.
  • Ensure that the movement of material takes place as per laid down procedure. He shall ensure that all checks, as laid down by the procedure, are being carried out on movement of personnel, vehicles and material.
  • Supervise/Global Security operations center during any disaster or major emergencies.
  • Assist CRE and BCM teams during internal and external emergencies to facilitate smooth operations. / Assist in evacuation process.
  • Ensure Optimum utilization of resources by continuous review & analysis of security functions, including physical security measures, resources, fraud loss methods, patterns, and trends.
  • Identifying areas of vulnerability or priority; identify, develop, and implement proactive plans and programs to address the problem areas and support the changing needs of the business.
  • Investigations & analysis of Security related incidents / Access violations
  • Review of reports and dissemination of information to the Leadership
  • Take corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relations at the highest level with representatives from law enforcement agencies to ensure a high degree of cooperation and support from these agencies, when the need arises.
  • Ensuring all People Security policies relevant to the geographic area of coverage are aligned to local regulations, this includes the development of any local policies to meet compliance.
  • Provide regular feedback to Regional Security Managers
  • Manage Security Deployment / mustering.
  • Perform Health Checks / Resolve Technical Issues
  • Manage Global Security Operation Center ( GSOC ) Operations
  • Train GSOC Staff and Evaluate them on monthly basis.
  • Extend support to Site leadership.
  • Monitor and operate security systems including access control and CCTV, along with environmental monitoring and mass notification systems.
  • Respond quickly and initiate action related to alarms, phone calls, and environmental monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Notify, assist, and direct external emergency personnel and internal resources as necessary.
  • Dispatch security officers or law enforcement personnel for alarm response, calls for service, and emergency situations.
  • Execute protocols and communicate at all levels across the APAC / EMEA/ NAMER & LACA region to employees, site security leads, safety & security staff, or contracted officers as needed.
  • Manage information flow to and from an incident
  • Maintain operational logs, conduct daily shift checklists, handover reports, and incident reports
  • Coordinate with Western Union Regional Security leads on incident detection and management.
  • Coordinate with Western Union Corporate Executive protection Team on incident detection and management.
  • Ensure that complete and accurate information is entered into the incident management Log /system.
  • Utilize and execute protocols and standard operating procedures to effectively manage global incidents.
  • Monitor travel safety and security of the company's staff
  • Maintain situational awareness of current global current events.
  • Monitor and respond to global alerts and events affecting company facilities and employees providing immediate information and assistance as needed.
  • Initiate mass communication notifications as required.
  • Manage risk advisories via different service providers.
  • Notify leadership
