Responsibilities:


  • Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, personal, social, and careerrelated issues, using evidencebased counseling techniques and interventions.
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students' strengths, needs, and areas for growth, and develop personalized intervention plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to support students' academic achievement and socialemotional development.
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for students, families, and staff members, connecting them with appropriate school and community resources and support services.
  • Facilitate classroom presentations, workshops, and programs on topics such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, study skills, career exploration, and mental health awareness.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support to students in crisis or distress, coordinating with appropriate school personnel and external agencies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, assessments, and referrals, in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and student support teams to collaborate on student interventions and provide input on schoolwide initiatives.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance counseling skills, stay current with best practices, and meet licensure requirements.

Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or related field. Licensed or certified school counselor preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a school counselor or counselor in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of counseling theories, techniques, and best practices for working with children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with students and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing school counseling practice.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools and resources for counseling, data management, and communication.

Pay:
₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
