Roles and Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain deep understanding of reference and master data sets mentioned
- above, vendor data, and underlying data architecture, processes, methodology, and
- systems

  • Perform content research and root cause analysis, and work with vendors and data
- collection teams to resolve data quality issues within defined timelines

  • Identify patterns, and provide practical, innovative, and valueadded solutions to fix the
- data quality issues systematically

  • Define, develop, and maintain automated data quality tests and metrices, monitor
- exceptions and take corrective measures

  • Review and research corporate actions, and maintain company/fund master data as per
- proprietary data methodology

  • Maintain index and other reference data sets as per defined processes
  • Respond to data requests and adhoc queries about data, definition, logic, and
- methodology raised by data users

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


Mandatory:

A master's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business.

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in data audit/governance/quality/operations and
- management in capital markets data domain

  • Basic to intermediatelevel handson experience in SQL and Excel
  • Good understanding of company and Funds filings such as KIID, prospectus, factsheet,
  • Form 3/4/5 and 13F, annual report, proxy filings, 8K, 10K, 10Q etc.
  • Experience of working on data provided by vendors such as Refinitiv/Lipper,
  • Morningstar, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Compustat, Factset, EDGAR, IDC, Thomson Reuters,
  • IHS Markit etc.
  • Ability to fluently and effectively communicate and collaborate with global business and
- technical teams

  • Selfstarter and quick learner
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fastpaced environment independently with little
- supervision
