Job Description:

Role SAP PS Functional Consultant with strong skills in SAP PS with minimum 6-8 years of experience.

Needs ability to understand complex business processes which are custom built on SAP. The consultant

will partner with the client to analyze and define business requirements, processes and objectives to

scope project and deliverables for same. The consultant will implement, customize, and test solutions

on client system and develop client-specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed;

as well as:
Needs to have basic understanding of SAP CPM,PPM,SD,FICO module.

Knowledge of any of the following will be advantage -ABAP WebDynpro,

Key Skills

  • Project systems (Mandatory and should be expert)
Creation and management of projects

Creation and management of simulated versions of projects

Maintenance of easy cost planning for project

Knowledge of business process like O2C, P2P

Good knowledge in Project Settlement and Project customization required

He/she should be functional SAP PS Consultant and will report to Sr.
Management

He/She should have sound knowledge of project system customization in SAP with ECC

and HANA System

  • General SAP Understanding
Good understanding of enterprise structure

Critical master data like material master, BOMs etc

Awareness on SAP authorization concept

Understanding of ABAP concepts and interface concepts like RFC, IDOCs etc.

  • Exposure to SAP SD module will be an added advantage
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Multitasking abilities
  • Strong requirements gathering and scope management skills
  • Ability to translate SAP requirements into SAP technical design efficiently
  • Ability to coordinate and work in an onsiteoffshore environment.
  • To be the business process & SAP best practice champion.
  • Ensure seamless and smooth integration between the various processes in scope
  • Ensure new processes fit appropriately aligning with Siemens and SAP standard processes
  • Enable Solution approach to prevent potential technical/integration conflicts
  • Propose suitable alternate options and facilitating the final decision

ABAP Webdynpro programming basics

  • Understanding of user exits

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conceptualization, realization and Go-Live of
customer implementation projects

Perform feasibility studies and process design reviews

  • Take responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line
manager(s) in people development tasks

  • Develop detailed plan of process implementation
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements
(SAP/non-SAP)

  • Develop and assure quality of process models
  • Demonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
  • Assist in the development of the overall project plan (scoping process) as well as
individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates,
analyses, and solves software problems)

  • Analyze and map clients' business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop
necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.

  • Support the Services Organization with implementation projects, presales support
(estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of
customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
