The Role Responsibilities

Business Support
The role supports CCIB Investments Finance FP&A.

  • Working closely with Tech, operations finance teams and also group performance reporting teams to ensure adequate compliance of policies and procedures take care in investment accounting, impairment recognition and restructuring.
  • Understanding the financial processes end to end and working efficiently towards delivery of on demand CFO analytics to support specific business scenarios on investment financials.
  • Work closely with Project PMOs, business project leads, and other functional finance teams to ensure accurate recognition of accruals and forecasts of investment effort.
  • Providing guidance and support to other CCIB teams toward integrating the outcomes of the investment process within overall CCIB performance reporting and planning.
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive and deliver on performance management reporting and analytics though high quality MI and stakeholder engagement.
  • Driving process improvement, efficiency and resolving core business process issues across the investment process.
  • Continuously reviewing all processes in order to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in pan CCIB change initiatives relating to investment and cost reporting processes.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Standard Reporting, and Planning and Control Teams.
  • Stakeholder management and escalation handling.

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 10 years of relevant finance experience in FP&A.
  • Experienced in Investment and Cost FPA.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority and build on unstructured formative situations.
  • A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
  • Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes.
  • Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required.
  • Ability to culturally orient in diverse and international team environment and lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner.
  • Develop analysis and interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making.
  • Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management.
  • Should have worked in a business finance function with strong FP&A background.
