What's this role about?

As a Sharepoint Administrator, you will be responsible for administration and support of the AmerisourceBergen global SharePoint estate and global user community.
Here's how you'll contribute:
In this role you will help us:
Provide expert technical services in architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting an enterprise collaboration solution based on Microsoft SharePoint Online, Windows SharePoint Services.
Develop plans for the configuration and deployment of SharePoint Online (SPO) Collaboration sites, to ensure long term strategic growth, secure collaboration with internal/external parties, and management of resources. Manage solutions for automating site, group, and team management, as well as develop reporting capabilities for evaluating security audit, permissions allocation, and storage usage within the SPO environment.
Support M&A activities and migrations of tenant to tenant or onpremises data (file shares) to SPO sites.
Provide operational support for the collaboration sites, communication sites and MS Team sites, to include development of automated functionality within SPO sites, including integration of Power Automate and PowerApps.
Provide expert technical services in developing custom workflows and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) within SharePoint to accommodate service requests from SharePoint customers.
Develop new SharePoint solutions and support strategic and legacy solutions in multiple SharePoint and content management projects.

Skills required to contribute:

We're looking for someone with:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or technology related field, or equivalent experience.
35 Years of progressive experience.
Indepth knowledge of SharePoint Online (SPO) and onpremises SharePoint environments,
Experience performing migrations from onpremises environments and tenant to tenant,
Experience using migration tools such as Sharegate or others to perform migration activities.
Solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM best practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to "look forward" and prepare for future incident resolution.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and detail oriented.
Good interpersonal skills; effective team player.
Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines.

Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
