Our client is one of the leading Insurance Organization in India, known for offering a comprehensive range of insurance products and services.

We are currently looking for a skilled Legal (Litigation) professional to join their Legal & Compliance Team in Mumbai.


Key responsibilities:


  • Oversee the timely filing of replies to petitions/complaints, satisfaction of awards, and filing of appeals related to Consumer/Ombudsman matters.
  • Review Consumer Ombudsman cases to decide on contesting or compromising strategies to achieve savings.
  • Manage timely and quality reporting/information submission to regulators and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage a team of 45 individuals.

Role requirements:


  • A Law Graduate with 6 7 years of relevant experience in consumer/ombudsman litigation within the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior management and crossfunctional teams.
  • Robust Team Management Experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
