Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Coordinate and manage construction activities according to priorities and plans.

Supervision: Direct and supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements.

Quality Control: Inspect work progress and ensure construction meets quality standards and specifications.

Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.

Communication: Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and resolve issues.

Resource Management: Manage labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to optimize productivity and minimize waste.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material/equipment logs.

Budget Management: Monitor project expenses and track costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Schedule Adherence: Ensure construction activities are completed on schedule, adjusting plans as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen circumstances.

Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to construction teams to improve skills and performance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a construction supervisor or similar role.
Indepth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
Certification in construction management or relevant field is a plus.
OSHA certification preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in construction management or related field is desirable.

Working Conditions:

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and may involve physical labor and exposure to hazards typical of construction sites.
Flexible hours may be required to accommodate project needs, including evenings and weekends.
