Responsibilities:

API Testing:

Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs.
Conduct thorough testing of API functionalities to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Manual Testing:

Create and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the quality of the software throughout the development lifecycle.

Test Automation:

Contribute to the development of automated test scripts for API testing.
Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team for implementation.

Defect Tracking and Reporting:

Document and track defects, ensuring their resolution and providing detailed reports to the development team.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issue resolution.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
Communicate effectively within the QA team and across departments to promote a collaborative work environment.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience of 38 years in API testing and manual testing.
Strong understanding of API technologies, RESTful APIs, and web services.
Experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Proficiency in creating and executing SQL queries for backend testing.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
