Key Responsibilities:
-
Resident Supervision: Oversee the daily activities of hostel residents, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. Monitor resident behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly and appropriately.

Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment within the hostel premises. Implement and enforce safety protocols, including fire safety procedures, emergency evacuation plans, and security measures to protect residents and property.

Facility Management: Coordinate maintenance and repairs of hostel facilities, including rooms, common areas, and amenities. Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld throughout the hostel.

Conflict Resolution: Mediate conflicts and disputes among residents, promoting peaceful coexistence and fostering a harmonious living environment. Provide counseling and support to residents as needed.

Administration: Maintain accurate records of resident information, including occupancy, attendance, and disciplinary actions. Handle administrative tasks such as managing room allocations, maintaining inventory, and processing resident requests.

Community Building: Organize and facilitate community-building activities, events, and workshops to foster social interaction, cultural exchange, and personal development among residents.

Communication: Serve as a liaison between hostel management, residents, and relevant stakeholders. Communicate important information, updates, and announcements to residents effectively.

Emergency Response: Be available and responsive to handle emergencies or crises within the hostel, including medical emergencies, security incidents, or natural disasters. Coordinate with authorities and emergency services as necessary.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with hostel policies, regulations, and legal requirements. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations governing hostel operations.

Advisory Role: Offer guidance, advice, and support to residents on academic, personal, and social matters. Refer residents to appropriate resources or support services when needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, social work, education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in hostel management, residential life, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine concern for the wellbeing of others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary:
₹35, ₹52,568.00 per month
