Your field of responsibility

As a part of role, your responsibility includes:

  • Reconciliations lead for Global Reconciliations Service delivery & oversight
  • Standardizing global reconciliation processes, controls, and Management Information as well as improving existing Management Information Systems structure, governance, and transparency
  • Ensure functional alignment to overall reconciliations and settlements strategies and policies, improvement to operating models, standards, and governance
  • Establish Risk and Performance Oversight & Supervisory Model that ensures control, access, performance, supervisory tests are performed consistently
  • Critical issue & communication management incl. Regional Entity Oversights
  • Execution & integrity of daily checks & controls
  • Client money decisions, approvals, and associated procedures
  • Support on new business & other entity related or process specific projects
  • Daily production support & oversight for reconciliations
  • Design, monitor and deliver on KPIs and KRIs
  • Point of escalation for the control
  • Liaison with Internal and External Audit and Regulators
  • Drive & support periodic control reviews in conjunction with OC&R
  • Ensure compliance with CS policies, alignment with CS standards on conducts & ethics
  • Partner management & engagement

Your future colleagues:


You will be part Global Reconciliations Control Services (GRCS) Production and Governance function within Market-Facing Operations and Network (MON), operated out of Pune and Zurich offices.

You will be leading one ore more controls functions within the Global Reconciliation Control Services (GRCS) and will be based in Pune.

GRCS performs the mandated and critical daily control of Nostro & Depot reconciliations for all of Credit Suisse's Nostro & Depot accounts globally & other key reconciliation controls in FOBO, BOBO & System Integrity Recs.

The group uses a third-party Reconciliation Tool & offers its reconciliation services as a Utility to the Bank at large.


The scope of operations is global:
extending across all divisions & markets the Bank operates in.

While it offers a Rec Utility, GRCS as a Central Control Function also upholds the minimum standards of Reconciliation Controls ensuring timely, complete, and accurate reconciliation of all settlement activities in the bank, including the quality of trade booking and it flows across the Bank's Front and Back Operating systems.

Your skills and experience

  • A min of 10 years of experience within the relevant industry and roles i.e., Capital markets and preferably Investment Banking Ops
  • Good understanding of the life cycle of a trade and processes supporting the same e.g., Settlements, Corporate Actions, Reconciliations etc.
  • 35 years of experiences in reconciliations and Control functions will be advantageous
  • Proven experience in process reviews and redesign resulting in efficiency and/or stronger controls '
  • Proven experience in cross department collaborations
  • Proven experience in managing a team with a strong sense of trust and collaboration
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Should be methodical in providing updates, tracking issues/open points/actions and persistent in follow up/ closure of all open issues in a timely manner. Unhesitant in raising where required.
  • Should have strong communication and presentations skills, both oral & written
  • Should have outstanding experience in Management Information Systems, data intelligence & analytics
  • Any technical knowhow & experience around data analysis & solutioning will be advantageous
  • Should exhibit strong delivery & innovation with a keen eye for risk management & controls
  • High level of integrity and dedication to working in a changing and challenging environment
