Winterbear is a character retail brand specializing in designing captivating manga-inspired characters and retailing self-manufactured kawaii character-based products in our retail stores.

We work with multiple globally renowned IPs including but not limited to LINE FRIENDS, BT21 and THE SMURFS.

We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Manga Illustrator to join our design team.

As a Manga Illustrator, you will play a crucial role in bringing our stories and characters to life through your exceptional artistic skills.

Your attention to characterization, ability to portray emotions, and meticulous attention to detail will be the key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Create character illustrations that capture the essence of each character, paying close attention to their unique features, expressions, and emotions.
Illustrate characters in multiple angles, ensuring consistency and accuracy throughout various scenes.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manga art style, demonstrating a keen eye for visual storytelling and composition.
Illustrate animestyle backgrounds that effectively depict the world in which the characters live, adding depth and enhancing the overall atmosphere.
Collaborate closely with the creative team, including writers and storyboard artists, to ensure visual continuity and alignment with the narrative vision.
Stay updated with current trends and techniques in manga and anime, and continuously strive to enhance your skills and knowledge in these areas.
