SE- L- Backup - 3-6 Years of Experience

Level 2 | 4- 6 YRS

Minimum 5 years of experience in remote infrastructure management and backup administration
Installation & configuration
Main activities include performing regular system maintenance,incident,change management, Patch management, analyze/solve performance and security issues,backup scheduling maintenance
Troubleshooting backup failures
Hands on experience on appliance, Puredisk and Data Domain appliances.
Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN Client backup (Fiber Transport)
Clear understanding on SLP and Vault
Upgrade and patching the Backup servers
Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP Integration with Netbackup
Backup/restoration (DR) of UNIX/ Windows Host
Backup/Restore for Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP
Managing Internal Database
Should have good understanding on TCP/IP concepts.
Good understanding on SAN Infrastructure and Architecture.
Managing & Troubleshooting Netbackup appliance, Tape Library and Data Domain
Should have exposure to working on projects independently
License Management experience
Certification will be an advantage
Thorough understanding of ITIL process

Ready to work in night shift & flexible for other hours

Project specific Details
Must have knowledge on VEEAM Backup tools with min. 5 years relavant experience
Good to have CommVault and BackupsExec backup tool knowledge

Ability to manage physical tape librarieis, tape management, offsite tape management, aux copy management from disk to tapes, tape vaulting, AWS and Azure disk management.
Disk library capacity management and ensure healthy backups and healthy tape vaulting.

- ability to produce quotes and manage procurmeent requests for client with client and vendor teams.

Risk and issue management in backup environment
Good to have ITIL certification and BMC remedy / ServiceNow knowledge.

Locations - Bangalore/Chennai
