Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery:


  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Integrate technology and interactive activities to enhance learning experiences.

Student Assessment:


  • Assess and monitor students' progress through observations, assignments, tests, and other assessment tools.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student progress and achievements.

Classroom Management:


  • Establish and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
  • Address and resolve behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.

Communication and Collaboration:


  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities, projects, and school events.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and schoolwide initiatives.

Student Development:


  • Foster a love of learning and encourage students' curiosity and creativity.
  • Support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Grade 1 students.
  • Identify and address individual learning needs, including providing additional support or enrichment as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education.

Experience:


  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in a primary or elementary school setting.
  • Experience with Grade 1 curriculum and ageappropriate teaching methods.

Skills:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
