Key Responsibilities:

-
Menu Development:


  • Design and develop a diverse and authentic South Indian menu.
  • Introduce seasonal specials and innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors.
  • Ensure menu items meet dietary requirements and customer preferences.

Food Preparation and Cooking:


  • Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes including but not limited to dosas, idlis, sambar, biryanis, and chutneys.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared with consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.
  • Maintain knowledge of and implement traditional cooking techniques.

Kitchen Management:


  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for fresh and authentic ingredients.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations.

Quality Control:


  • Monitor the presentation and taste of dishes before they are served to ensure the highest standards.
  • Gather feedback from customers to continually improve menu offerings and service.
  • Implement quality control procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Training and Development:


  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and innovations in South Indian cuisine.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the kitchen team.

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school preferred.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing a successful South Indian menu.

Skills:


  • Indepth knowledge of South Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a creative flair for presentation.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Fresher


Pay:
₹10, ₹350,000.00 per month
