Key Responsibilities:
-
Menu Development:
- Design and develop a diverse and authentic South Indian menu.
- Introduce seasonal specials and innovative dishes while maintaining traditional flavors.
- Ensure menu items meet dietary requirements and customer preferences.
Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes including but not limited to dosas, idlis, sambar, biryanis, and chutneys.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.
- Maintain knowledge of and implement traditional cooking techniques.
Kitchen Management:
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, and coordinate with suppliers for fresh and authentic ingredients.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety regulations.
Quality Control:
- Monitor the presentation and taste of dishes before they are served to ensure the highest standards.
- Gather feedback from customers to continually improve menu offerings and service.
- Implement quality control procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Training and Development:
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques and recipes.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and innovations in South Indian cuisine.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the kitchen team.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a South Indian Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Proven track record of developing and executing a successful South Indian menu.
Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of South Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques.
- Excellent culinary skills with a creative flair for presentation.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Job Types:

₹10, ₹350,000.00 per month
