Assistant Professor (Computers)

Qualification: 1) Ph.
D. (Computers) with 2+ year's experience in academics. Freshers (Ph.
D.) can apply.

2) MCA/M.Sc. (Computers) with 5 + year's experience in academics. Freshers (M.Sc.) can apply


Responsible for teaching the assigned courses, keeping up to date with current advancements in course content and teaching pedagogies while being involved in research activities.


Classroom Teaching:


  • Ensure the syllabus is completed before time as per the schedule
  • Make necessary preparations for the class a day before
  • Introduce concepts and learnings to the class with best teaching methodologies
  • Clarify doubts and queries of the students during or even after the class
  • Make the best use of available tools and technologies to impart knowledge

Academic Development:


  • Ensure classroom sessions are integrated to practical teaching - learning practices
  • Live projects to focus on developing entrepreneurship among students
  • Contribute to research targets by converting live projects into case studies

Student Support:


  • Build good rapport with student and provide necessary guidance and support
  • Ensure students abide by all mandated disciplinary procedures
  • Assess student's academic records by retrieving the data from KnowledgePro and note their improvements
  • Send regular update to parents on attendance and examination marks of student through SMS notification using KnowledgePro
  • Provide mentoring and special coaching support to students based on their performance

General Administration:


  • Ensure recording of attendance of the class regularly on KnowledgePro
  • Perform all examination related duties like invigilation or evaluation with diligence, timely upload of CA marks on KnowledgePro
  • Perform any other activities as directed by HOD/ Principal or Management
  • Coordinate with other departments for mutual sharing of relevant information
  • Connect with parents to update them on their pupil's performance
  • Provide the necessary information sought by Principal or Management in a timely and accurate manner through regular database updates

Research Orientation:

  • Conduct research and experiments to advance knowledge in their field
  • Supervise graduate students in their research assignments and projects
  • Publish research papers and funded research projects

Salary:
₹15, ₹450,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Master's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
