JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop and maintain balance sheets.
  • Manage account statements.
  • Report daily revenue and other numbers.
  • Reconciling subledger to general ledger account balances.
  • Preparing financial statements.
  • Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis.
  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Prepare budget forecasts.
  • Publish financial statements in time.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ensure timely bank payments.
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
  • Support monthend and yearend close process.
  • Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
  • Filing of GST Returns GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR6 and annual return.
  • Making Einvoicing as per billing department.

KEY SKILLS:


  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
  • Expertise in GST,TDS, Returns, Invoicing, Office Management etc.
  • Indepth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Awareness of business trends.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the monthend/yearend close process.
  • Handson experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including V lookups and pivot tables.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes.
  • Ethical behavior.
  • Attention to detail.
