In this role, you will:


  • Participate in complex activities related business analytics
  • Develop, implement, calibrate, and validate analytical models
  • Review structured securities, cash flow and credit impacts
  • Research market and interest rate changes and develop modeling systems to support real time trading, deal structuring and research and investment decisions
  • Perform statistical and mathematical model in wide arrange of business initiatives
  • Analyze forecasting methods and focus on the theory behind the data
  • Analyze processes and workflows to make recommendations for process improvement
  • Mitigate risk management and provide in depth strategies for model development, validation, and performance analysis
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, managers, and regulators to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Provide assistance to the Wells Fargo Quantitative Analytics program

Required Qualifications:


  • 6+ months of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
  • Strong Quantitative Skills with exposure to Predictive modeling experience. Good understanding of model development and model testing process.
  • Good Problem Solving and Analytical Skills
  • Basic familiarity with Python, SAS and SQL
  • Good Written and Oral Communication Skills

Job Expectations:

Development of regulatory Credit risk (including CCAR, CECL and IFRS), PPNR and RRP Valuations model for Commercial portfolio:

Work closely with team to understand and enhance the data and modeling process behind existing models, develop new models, address data and model issues/risk findings

Underlying portfolio data research and analytics using strong programming skills:

Adhere to audit and model validation governance to ensure data and modeling process are in compliance with policy and are working as intended, address model validation and regulatory feedback issues:

Support ad-hoc analytic projects
