What You Will Be Doing:

Providing technical support for a software production processing environment
Detecting, diagnosing, and reporting problems
Assisting programming staff in software analysis and performance
Consulting internal users on software capabilities and use
Escalating issues when necessary for timely resolution
Using diagnostic tools to isolate and resolve incidents or problems
Assisting development teams in requirements and system design
Verifying technical specifications for development projects

What You Bring:

Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Oracle and SQLPLUS
Understanding of networking practices
Knowledge of ITIL production support best practices
Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and weekends
Availability for 24/7 shift work
