Responsibilities:


  • Supervise daily store operations, including receiving, dispatching, inward and outward movement of goods, and stock management.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping for all incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining a wellorganized filing system.
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill material requests and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Oversee the sagrication (categorization and classification) of items for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Implement effective binning techniques to optimize space utilization and streamline item retrieval processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels regularly and generate reports for stock availability, reordering, and consumption patterns.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet operational demands.
  • Train and mentor storekeeping staff to ensure adherence to best practices and safety guidelines.
  • Handle and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to stock, quality, or documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
  • Utilize computer knowledge to input and manage inventory data using relevant software tools.
  • Assist in conducting regular audits to verify stock accuracy and identify variances.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance store efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in store management or related roles.
  • Any Graduation degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge, including familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards in a store environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
