Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Instruction:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, covering various aspects of English language and literature, including grammar, composition, literary analysis, and communication skills.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to facilitate active learning and accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Literary Analysis and Appreciation:

Introduce students to a diverse range of literary genres, authors, and texts from different cultures and historical periods.
Facilitate indepth literary analysis discussions, encouraging students to explore themes, characters, and literary techniques critically.
Cultivate a deeper appreciation for literature and its relevance to personal identity, society, and human experience.

Writing Proficiency and Expression:

Teach writing skills across various genres, including narrative, expository, persuasive, and creative writing, fostering clarity, coherence, and voice.
Provide constructive feedback on student writing, guiding revision and refinement through the writing process.
Promote effective communication skills through oral presentations, debates, and public speaking activities.

Language Skills Development:

Reinforce foundational language skills, including vocabulary acquisition, grammar usage, syntax, and comprehension strategies.
Scaffold instruction to support English language learners and students with diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Foster language fluency and accuracy through immersive language experiences and authentic communication tasks.

Assessment and Feedback:

Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including essays, exams, presentations, and projects.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, guiding them in setting goals and monitoring their progress.
Analyze assessment data to inform instructional decisions, differentiate instruction, and address individual student needs.

Parent Communication and Collaboration:

Maintain open and regular communication with parents, providing updates on student progress, achievements, and areas for growth.
Collaborate with parents as partners in their child's education, soliciting feedback, addressing concerns, and fostering a supportive homeschool connection.
Organize parent workshops, literacy events, or book clubs to involve families in promoting a culture of reading and language enrichment.

Professional Development and Growth:

Engage in continuous professional development to deepen content knowledge, teaching skills, and pedagogical practices in English language and literature.
Participate in professional learning communities, workshops, conferences, and online courses to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in education.
Reflect on teaching practices, seek feedback from peers and supervisors, and pursue opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in English Literature, English Language, Education, or a related field.
Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for secondary or higher secondary English instruction.
Previous experience teaching English language and literature to secondary or higher secondary students (preferred).
Strong content knowledge in English language and literature, with a passion for literature and language arts.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.

Pay:
₹45, ₹50,000.00 per month
