Description
1.

To do the assessment of persons with disabilities for various assistive and mobility devices at MI program locations and ensure appropriate training and follow up support wherever possible.


  • To provide rehabilitation therapy services with follow up support for persons with disabilities covered by the organization programs and projects (children and women with disabilities and older people with functional loss). To support in ensuring that the target set by the annual POA for all the activities are achieved.
  • To maintain the records of the rehabilitation therapy service provision as per the format of the organization and update the same accordingly.
  • Coordinate Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants field level plan and build capacity of team towards effective Implementation of therapy intervention at home based and community therapy centres.
  • To explore new therapeutic techniques and intervention and introduce the same into the therapy service provision.
  • To provide necessary support and guidance to the Grass root CBID program personnel and ensure smooth functioning of day to day activities in line with the annual POA.
  • Link with Network Hospitals, PHCs, Doctors and referral centres to promote rehabilitation services.
  • Coordinate with Program coordinator for periodical update of data base.
Accountable for periodic reporting (monthly, half yearly) and process of documentation.

To support in getting all the quality assurance and feedback forms as introduced by the unit are filled in and internal audit done as per the plan.


  • Accountable for Rehabilitation Programme planning, implementing and monitoring and evaluating process.
  • Supporting Disabled Peoples Organisation in raising awareness of Disability issues generally and Priority Assistive Technology.
