- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience in Analytics, BI Reporting using advanced Python and SQL skills including dealing with large volumes of data and other automation projects
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience in international stakeholder engagement with excellent spoken and written English skills
- Manage deadlines, escalate issues promptly, and prioritize workload Shift: Flexibility to adapt to UK / US or HK hours
- Advanced Python, full stack development and web/app development experience is preferred and also on advanced SQL for data querying and ETL skills with large data sets on data platforms
- Intermediate Qliksense, and development optimization tools such as Github, Jira, Confluence, etc
- Previous experience working in Financial Institutions or Markets related business supporting Business Development, strategy and Business Management, Client intelligence and / or any other COO function will be highly desirable
- Understanding of Global Markets products, specifically FX spot, FX forwards, FX options, money market products, and interest rate swaps is preferable
