Role & Responsibilities:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing a particular assigned region, North, East, West, and South.
Traveling would be required throughout the assigned region (For example if the West region is assigned, traveling will be required to Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh).
Post Graduation in Biotechnology, Biology, or Similar is requisite. Complete knowledge of Life Science Research Products is mandatory.Business Development
- The Role will focus on working with the Research community of India including
government & private Research Organizations, CROs, Laboratories, Universities, Research Institutes, Hospitals, and pharma companies to sell products and generate new business to achieve assigned targets - Initiate customers' retention measures by building on customer relations
- Collect references from existing customers and create a custom pool for new business development
- Responsible for timely catering to customer queries
- Responsible for training, grooming, and supporting the sales team to generate new business / new accounts
- Responsible for Support marketing programs and programs in other territories as assigned by the Company and assuming a leadership role in doing so
- Carry out field visits to potential customers throughout the country.
- Implement activities and meet sales budget listed in the Sales and Marketing Plan, e.g. Planning, preparing Sales tools and organizing presentation to a targeted group.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to customers
- Produces training materials, customizes training materials for different audiences, analyses training needs and conducts product training for the team and dealers.
Reporting
- Updating information regarding customer visits
- Updating competitors' information
- Creation of a new database and process documentation
Prerequisites for the position:
- Post Graduate in Biotechnology, Biology, or Similar is Must
- Exposure to Sales and Marketing in the field of Life sciences reagents, Diagnostics, and instrumentations
- Capable of generating new business (Business Development) and should be a customer relations expert
- Good knowledge and contacts with the core accounts (Pharma and major research institutes)
Salary:
₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
