Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for an assigned section of the APAC BT & USP operations, providing end to end related operations management for JPMC which includes Tax support authorization, monitoring the selection process, tax filing monitoring across multiple locations, Foreign Tax Credit repayment process in conjunction with outsourced service providers.
  • Timely and accurate processing and review of the tax calculations for accuracy and appropriate withholdings; transfer of payroll information to the vendor, checking of vendor inputs, vendor feedback and query resolution.
  • Manage large amounts of employee confidential data and generate customized reports
  • Performs execution of data management and interfaces controls; including data extraction and manipulation from various sources in order to prepare daily and exception processing reports that will drive operations
  • Compile information from multiple data sources in order to reconcile employee information against the vendors systems and JPMC's internal system
  • Responsible for data integrity by managing the various interfaces and data handoffs that support the endtoend global process
  • Partner with Corporate Tax, Payroll teams, and key external vendors to ensure Tax controls are appropriate, consistently followed and are current in a changing environment
  • Manage remediation of service defects and breaks to resolution
  • Evaluating processes to incorporate efficiencies and/or identify areas for improvement
  • Management of BT Change Control, analyzing potential changes for impact to services and project work, providing recommendation
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to build and implement proper testing protocol for internal and vendor systems releases, leading local testing
  • Develop, improve, update and document BT & USP processes and associated standard operating procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3 years' experience in an analyst role or 6+ years of relevant business operations experience
  • Strong processorientation; seeks to integrate work and processes across teams
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; works easily with employees at different levels, vendors and across global team building relationships
  • Strong organizational skills including effective prioritization, multitasking and ability to focus
  • Must be processoriented; a problem solver with excellent analytical skills
  • Microsoft Suite experience Power point, Visio. Intermediate to advanced technical skills using Excel; v lookup, pivot tables, formulas experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced skills of reporting tools preferred
  • Understanding of project management life cycle and its key components
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
  • Effective at building and maintaining relationships with clients at all levels
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle and resolve employee data related issues
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Proven ability to quickly master understanding of program processes and procedures; internal and external to the function.
  • Ability to Lead Meetings and develop presentations on an Ad Hoc basis
