Purpose Statement

  • To strengthen the system by identifying the pitfalls of the implemented system and to provide the assurance to the stakeholders that the system is robust and is in integrity and meeting the intent of the system requirements.
  • To Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • To determine the conformity or nonconformity in the system against the specified requirements defined in the Guidelines of the Organisation.
  • To identify opportunities for improvement / simplication of systems (processes)
  • To identify opportunities to digitize / digitalize systems(processes) by generating Insights during the Assessment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide support in developing the annual assessment plan, assessment objectives and scope.
  • Responsible to prepare the assessment protocol with the respective process owners and system assessment manager.
  • Monitor and ensure timely adherence to annual assessment plan.
  • Ensure adherence to the assessment protocols during assessment executions.
  • Assess adequacy and effectiveness of control, adherence to AMS guidelines, codes and procedures, effective compliance, identify & report process & control gaps.
  • Analyze data/ records/information, identify the gaps, its impact and suggest preventive and corrective measures and finalize reports.
  • Assess the functional competencies of user/ employee by interviewing them regarding the defined business process and process steps during the assessment
  • Discuss the assessment findings/observations and improvement areas with respective Group Managers, Group Heads and Systems Assessment Manager.
  • Responsible to provide support in drafting the assessment reports and circulate with the stakeholders.
  • Responsible to update the assessment protocol and assign the findings in AIMS to the respective stakeholders.
  • Responsible to identify the best practices and suggest the respective pillar/vertical head to incorporate the same in the existing business processes defined in the AMS guidelines/Codes/Procedures.
  • Perform follow-up on implementation/ closure of agreed action plan by assessee and perform validation of implemented controls.
  • Explore and suggest the opportunities to digitize the existing non-digital processes.

Job specification

Experience
Minimum 3 to 5 Years


Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferably Chemical/Mechanical Engineering


Certifications/Trainings
IMS Certified Internal Auditor, i.e ISO 9001:2015 (Preferable)
