User Experience Researcher

We are looking for a User Experience Researcher to drive our user research efforts. In

this role, you would be required to understand the needs of our MSME users through

different research methods and gather insights that inform product strategy and design.

Working seamlessly with various stakeholders across product, design and engineering

would be critical for success in this role.

many more. Our founding team consists of graduates from IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, and

BITS Pilani.

product, myBillBook, is currently being used by 10 million small businesses in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary research on multiple aspects of the product through
interviews, surveys, shop visits, usability studies and focus groups

  • Work closely with Designers, Product Managers and Engineers to
prioritize research opportunities and conduct early-stage exploratory research for

new products and features

  • Advocate research findings to various stakeholders across functions
through written reports and in-person presentations.

  • Keep up on competition product research and create comparison matrix &
battle cards

  • Support in creating tutorial videos and translations for languages supported
by our product (Hindi, Hinglish, English, Gujarati, Tamil, etc).


Requirements:

experience within UX and/or product research and development

  • Experience with research design utilizing various methods including but
not limited to usability studies, interviews, surveys and focus groups

  • Understanding of the strengths and limitations of different research
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to
build relationships with stakeholders of all levels

  • An inner desire for making a big impact and an extraordinary drive to get
things done

  • Experience in a SaaS / FinTech / SMEfocussed product will be a plus
