Manage and take responsibility for client allocation and workflow for teams you are responsible for

Manage and motivate staff including team leaders
Planning and monitoring activities to ensure all fund accounting functions are performed on a timely basis, meet quality standards and clients receive premium service
Ongoing review and maintenance of relationships with internal JPM departments
Ongoing review of daily controls and communication of any new training or procedural changes to your teams
Streamline operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency
Reporting to senior management, MIS and ad hoc issues that may arise
To remain informed of applicable regulatory changes and of new industry developments
Involvement in presentations to potential clients in conjunction with sales team
Ability to take ownership of issues and escalate where relevant
Participation in the development of goals and execution of strategies within department
Participation in special projects and other duties as directed
To oversee, create, maintain and update procedures, including analysis, design and execution of all aspects of the Fund Accounting Operating model
Management and leadership of staff with responsibility for hiring, performance management and training

Experience with implementing process improvement methodology and/or demonstrated experience with efficiency improvement

Ability to develop and manage high performing team

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience obtained within the Fund Accounting industry
Evidence of significant career advancement and career achievement
An ability to work in teams distributed across the globe
Third level qualification and/or accounting qualification
The ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and complete understanding of Fund industry dynamics
Ability to manage multiple streams and tasks to strict deadlines
Ability to demonstrate previous experience of dealing with complex operating models and complex deal structures
