We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on global oil, metal, and freight movement to join our Energy Markets team.

You will collaborate across teams and regions, playing a pivotal role in taking our trading desk capabilities to the next level while growing your career.

What role will you play?


In this role, you will work in a dynamic global environment, collaborating closely with traders and analysts located in the UK, the US, Australia, and Singapore.

You will provide time zone coverage for the US and European markets, assisting the trading team with daily procedures and operations, offering analytical support, and contributing to the trading and analytical processes.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills, and develop analytical models to strengthen the trading capabilities of the team.


What you offer

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline, along with 12 years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and other relevant data management tools is essential. Knowledge of Power BI and Python would be advantageous.
  • Able to work effectively in a fastpaced environment, demonstrate resourcefulness, and possess strong data management skills.
  • Background in petroleum, metals, freight trading, chemical analysis, agriculture, refining markets, and practical working knowledge of refinery operations would be an added advantage.
