Responsibilities
- Identify reliable vendors and maintain strong relationships with them.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure costeffective purchases.
- Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Track and analyze market trends to anticipate changes in pricing or availability of goods.
- Coordinate with the finance department to process payments to vendors in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs and provide assistance and guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
