Realpage is seeking a talented DBA adept at working and supporting database activities that span multiple Database technologies like MySQL/Oracle/Postgres.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, configure, and administer Linux database technology (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle)
Perform database development support and administration tasks in nonproduction as needed.
Evaluate and monitor databases to resolve performance issues, minimize data redundancy and support capacity planning.
Create/alter databases; replicate databases; perform daytoday database administration.
Design, implement and support database backup and recovery procedures.
Provide On-Call Support on a rotation basis.
Foster strong communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including IT and the Product engineering teams.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Minimum 46 years of proven experience of Open-Source Database Administration (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/DB2) on Linux/Unix OS
Must have hands on operational experience in managing one of the Open-Source database technologies.
Must have good Linux skills to include script writing.
Experience with DB2 database support preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
Positive attitude, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
