Global Finance & Business Management ("GF&BM") India is a combined Line of Business-aligned (LOB-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.


GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main "pillars" of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products.

The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

About the Team:

**The CIB Controllers

The team is tasked with integrating data across CIB and providing business stakeholders with a holistic view of business. It will also enable process and data standardization across the organization. The team will also lead adoption of new tools and platforms being leveraged across the industry.

The group will help create a unified and best in class analytics infrastructure by establishing new platforms and vendor partnerships.


A key long-term goal of the team is to make analytics and integrated customer data 'actionable' by creating interfaces to deployment platforms where the strategies get implemented with 'speed-to-market'.

This would also encompass the broader infrastructure initiatives to get the best-in-class tools and software in place.

**Role and Responsibilities: - Development of process automations using Data Transformation using Alteryx, Xceptor, and Data Visualization tools like Qliksense

Willing to learn new tools and develop process-based automations:


  • Support and manage Business-LOB focused BI reporting and dashboards on the portal. Drive the set up and production of dashboards measuring KPIs for the Business-LOB.
  • Drive innovation with LOB stakeholders during agile development sessions to create and improve dashboards leveraging newly onboarded data sources
  • Query data and merge information from diverse data sources to create rich datasets that enable better decisionmaking
  • Analyze data using tools to develop and automate reports or analysis that lead to actionable business insights
  • Work with other Analytics teams and multitask on projects to summarize and synthesize data and present recommendations to the businesses in a clear and logical manner
  • Support ongoing development by partnering with business to identify needs, define new data sets, technical testing and launch support including training of new users
  • Identify unexplored data opportunities for the business to unlock and maximize the potential of digital data within the organization
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and provide recommendations for testing new and emerging technology
  • Support ongoing technology evaluation process and proof of concept projects

Skills / Competencies Needed/Education Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 68 years of experience in projects, preferably related to automations or analytics in the financial services domain
  • Minimum 46 years of experience developing data visualization and presentations preferably with
    Qliksense,
    Qlikview and Alteryx/Xceptor

Experience with business intelligence dashboard like Microsoft PowerBI or BPM tools like Signavio or Pega is a plus

Willing to learn new tools and develop process-based automations to solve opportunities identified to be solved using technology

  • Experience with relational databases utilizing SQL concepts to work and summarize large datasets, report creation and adhoc analyses
  • Experience in reporting development and testing, and ability to interpret unstructured data and draw objective inferences given known limitations of the data
