A data architect is responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing complex database systems that store and manage large amounts of information. They work closely with other members of the IT team, such as data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders, to develop and manage the company's data infrastructure.

What's the role?

Develop data models and database designs to meet the needs of the organization.

Define data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to identify data requirements for reporting and analysis.

Design and implement data integration solutions to enable seamless data flow between disparate systems.

:

Optimize database performance by tuning parameters, indexing data, and monitoring system activity.

Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and other documentation to facilitate understanding and use of data.

Manage database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and other security measures to protect sensitive and confidential data.

What we need from you

:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

:

-
8+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling.

:

-
Proven expertise in data modelling, database design, and architecture.

:

-
Strong knowledge of database management systems, such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.

:

-
Proficiency in ETL tools, such as Informatica or Talend.

:

-
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions such as AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.

:

Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or QlikView.

:

Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
