Machine Fitter For Canada

Type of Employment:
Full time

Job Duties:

Work with advanced manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, overhead and transfer systems, robotic systems, and presses.
Work in a fastpaced teamorientated flexible manufacturing environment
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment under standardized procedures
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
Troubleshoot, replace and/or repair machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings
Perform welding, metal fabricating, hand finishing, grinding, and polishing
Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems
Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery
Move and align subassemblies and components
Read and interpret blueprints
Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors, or hydraulic assemblies
Passport valid for at least 3 years.
No medical issues
No criminal record
Never worked in Canada before
Valid driver's license
Comfortable to work on different shifts (day, night, weekend)
Experience as a machine fitter in manufacturing industry
Experience working abroad
Can lift up to 50 pounds

Requirements:

Education:
Completion of high school is required

Experience:

At least 5 years of onthejob training experience is required.
Experience with PLC (Programmable logic controller)
Ladder Logic, VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) is a strong asset
A class G driver's license is an asset
