Tool Know how :
LS-Dyna, ANSA/HyperMesh, Primer, Animator 2.

Domain Expertise:
Crash simulations (High speed, low speed crash, Pedestrian protection, Seating systems, Occupant safety and interiors) 3.

Skills:

Finite element modeling of automotive subassemblies and interior plastic parts, full vehicle model debugging
Knowledge of seat compression, dummy positioning and H point simulations
Good product knowledge and Vehicle/System level integration
Knowledge of NCAP protocols and regulatory requirements of different markets
Knowledge of linear and nonlinear analysis techniques
Perform post-crash test analysis & correlate CAE to test results
Good understanding of various material models of LS-Dyna, Manufacturing process & design constraints
Knowledge of Post-processing ,analyzing results and report preparation
Experience in design optimization External Durability Simulations Analyst
1 Tool Know how: ANSA, META, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, FEMSITE 1.

Stiffness, Strength & Durability

Evaluations for BIW and Closures a

CAE Simulations:
i. Linear and Non-linear evaluations using NASTRAN/ABAQUS. ii. Fatigue Evaluation / Damage Calculations using FEMSITE. iii. Model Debugging b.

Post Processing:
i. Interpretation of Results ii. Suggesting countermeasures c. Good Communication skills needed for regular interactions with various stakeholders (Testing, Engineers, and BTVs etc.) d. Focused and able to work independently.
